1852 N-12 R1 Repunched 18 PCGS graded MS63 Brown. Attractive lustrous bluish steel brown and chocolate. There is a faint horizontal hairline from the R in LIBERTY to the outer hair bun and a nick on the upright of the E in CENT. Neither mark is distracting and the eye appeal of this cent is excellent. E-MDS, die state a late. The repunching under the peak of the 1 is gone but some weak repunching still shows under the 1 & 8. The obverse is uncracked. Our grade is MS60. The attribution and Iskra provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 4; 7 finer for the variety at PCGS. Estimated Value $300-UP
