Lot 28
1797 C-3a R3 Low Head with Plain Edge VG8+. Sharpness near VF20 but the surfaces are covered with light roughness that is partially obscured by attractive glossy light chocolate brown toning. No verdigris. The only signs of contact are a few fine scratches blending into the roughness on both sides. EDS, Manley state 1.0. The date is bold and the legends are clear except for the usual weakness on HALF CENT.
