Collection of U.S. Congressmen and White House Officials. Thirty-one typed letters written between 1968 and 1994 to business executive Charles J. Broska from: Vice President Spiro T. Agnew (regarding prosecution of flag burners), Everett Dirksen, Bob Finch, George Murphy, Edward Muskie, John Tower (4), Bill Archer, Lloyd Bentsen, Thomas Eagleton (2), Stuart Symington (2), S.L. Hayakawa, Alan Cranston (3), Birch Bayh, Dan Rostenkowski (2), Sam Nunn, Paul Simon, and J(ohn) Robert Kerry, as well as letters from White House officials and/or counselors Kenneth Rush, W. Siedman, L.E. Panetta, and Fred. Fielding, and Federal Reserve chairman G. William Miller (2). All letters are on official letterhead and in excellent condition. Various national issues are discussed, including reliance on foreign oil, economic policies, balancing the Federal Budget, tax abuses, etc. The letters should be read to be appreciated.
