1801 S-223 R1 Error Fraction 1/000 PCGS graded AU50. Very attractive glossy medium chocolate brown with peeps of frost in protected areas on both sides. The only notable marks are a trio of parallel ticks in the field off the upper end of the hair ribbon and a collection of small nicks hidden in the leaves left of the O in ONE. Nicely struck MDS, Breen state III, with a cud break at RT in LIBERTY and die clashmarks on both sides. The Error Fraction 1/000 feature is obvious to the unaided eye. Our grade is VF35. The attribution and Heard provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 4 finer, 1 in 53, 1 in 55, 1 in 60, 1 in 63 for the variety. PCGS #36278. Estimate Value $2,000 - UP
