Great Britain. Bronzed Proof Two Pence, 1797. Peck-1065. George III. Copper. Reverse inverted. Obverse: Draped laureate bust of King facing right. GEORGIUS III.D:G REX. Reverse Britannia seated with shield and trident, holding olive branch with 11 leaves. Weight approximately 58 grams. A superb dark chocolate proof. Similar in look to the currency issue and seldom now seen in unblemished condition. NGC graded Proof 65 Brown.
