Montenegro. Medal for Liberation and Independence, instituted in 1878. Breast Badge, bronze, 36 mm. Portrait of Prince Nicholas I in national dress and with oak and laurel wreath. Reverse: Cross pattee, the four arms bearing the dates '1875 1876 1877 1878,' a five-pointed star and inverted crescent at the base. Original excellent condition, and original ribbon.
