1852-O. NGC graded MS-61. Fully white with reflective surfaces on both sides and probably an early strike from the dies. Unlike most of the low mintage this year, this coin was not scuried away and melted for the modest profit. The strike is a touch soft on Liberty's hair curls and the upper stars, but sharp elsewhere. A very rare date in Mint State and one that is rather nice for the grade. Only 96,000 struck. Pop 1; 1 finer in 63. Estimated Value $8,000 - UP
