1795 C-5a R3 Thin Planchet VG10+. Sharper by at least 5 points but there are some light scratches on both sides, mostly on the reverse. None of these scratches is distracting and the ones on the obverse are barely visible even with the aid of a good glass. The other marks are a tiny rim bruise at IB in LIBERTY and a small planchet void on the shoulder, as struck. No roughness or verdigris. Glossy steel brown blending to chocolate in protected areas. The date is complete but not strong, as usual on this variety. A minor planchet clip affects the dentils before the neck and chin. Weight 70.1 grains.
