Republican Rome. c. 275-270 BC. Aes Grave Sextans (49.54 g). Head of Dioscurus right, with peaked cap; pellet behind. Reverse: Head of Dioscurus left, with peaked cap; pellet behind. T-V 12; Craw. 18/5; Haeb. pl. 36, 12-17. Glossy dark green patina, with bronze and earthen highlights. Some apparent smoothing in obverse field. Very Fine.
