Lot 208

1850 N-4 R1 PCGS graded MS64 Brown. Very attractive lustrous light to medium chocolate brown and steel with peeps of very faded mint color on both sides. This cent has solid mint state eye appeal, but there is a faint hint of rub on the highest points of the devices. The only marks are a few tiny, barely visible pin scratches in the field left of star 11. E-MDS die state a late. The vertical die line from the dentils to star 9 is dull but still visible. Our grade is AU55. The attribution and Iskra provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 2 finer in 65 for the variety at PCGS. Estimated Value $350-UP

Ex Herman Fisher 2/4/2002-Fred Iskra Collection.

Realized $353
