1723 Rosa Americana 2 Pence Breen-92 PCGS graded VF25. Variety with a stop after the X in REX but none after the date. Rather glossy olive brown and chocolate with traces of frosty golden tan in protected areas on both sides. Smooth and attractive for the grade, just moderately worn. The only notable mark is a small, shallow planchet flake in the field left of the crowned rose. Listed on page 45 in the "Redbook." Estimate Value $400 - UP
