1876 Half Dollar Octagonal Indian. Breen and Gillio-953. Rarity 5. NGC graded MS-63 Prooflike. A nice untoned example. A few light hairlines in the reflective field (as always on these). Several interesting die lines (as made) on the portrait and through the Indian's ear. The stars are poorly placed due to the extension of the highest feathers in the headdress. A well struck example. Pop 1; None finer at NGC. The only Prooflike example graded by the service for the variety.
