Great Britain. Crown, 1551. S-2478; Dav-8245. Edward VI, 1547-1553. Third period. Fine-silver issue. Mint mark Y. Obverse: King crowned wearing armor holding a sword over his shoulder and galloping right, date 1551 below. Reverse; Long cross fourchée over royal shield. England's first dated silver crown. Above the shield on the reverse "MF" graffiti. Well struck and toned. PCGS graded Very Fine Detail (Repaired). Estimated Value $1,200 - 1,500
