Lot 186

1794 S-61 R4 PCGS graded VF20. Slightly glossy light to medium brown and tan fading to darker olive brown in protected areas. The devices are smooth but the fields and protected areas are covered with extremely fine roughness. No verdigris and only a few minor marks. These include a planchet flake on the cap near the L in LIBERTY and a few faint hairline scratches on the neck and into the field to the right. M-LDS, Breen state III, with die clashmarks on both sides. Our grade is net VG10. The attribution and Trollan Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 4 finer for the variety. Estimate Value $1,500 - UP
