1794 S-59 R3 PCGS graded XF40, CAC Approved. Glossy medium steel brown and light chocolate. The surfaces are smooth and the eye appeal is excellent. The only notable mark is a faint hairline scratch from the hair left of the ear lobe down to the bust. M-LDS, Breen state V, with a strong die crack arcing through the second A in AMERICA and the fraction plus additional die cracks down through the second S in STATES and up through the left end of the wreath ribbon. An attractive example of the die variety in an interesting die state. Noyes graded VF25 net VF20, his photo #26192. Our grade is VF25. The attribution and Trollan Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 7 finer for the variety. Estimate Value $3,250 - UP
