1905 $20 Liberty. PCGS graded Proof 64. A splendid Brilliant Proof with very few scattered marks. Still and all a choice specimen with radiant, boldly struck devices and nicely mirrored fields. Thorough evaluation from all angles of the surfaces under a powerful lens only increases the respect for the sharp detail of this imposing Proof example. It is unknown how few of the pieces struck have survived, but the number must be low. Collectors realize that the 1905 business strike P-mint issue is also a low mintage rarity in and of itself. In an old green label holder. Only 92 struck. Pop 9; 2 finer in 65 (PCGS # 9121) .
