1856. NGC graded AU-58. CAC. Housed in an Old Style Holder. Classic orange gold color with ample luster in the protected areas. The strike is sharp and the surfaces attractive for a slightly circulated example from this early Type I period double eagle. Pop 69; 22 finer, 5 in 60, 13 in 61, 3 in 62, 1 in 63.
