1925-D $20 St. Gaudens. NCS graded About Uncirculated Details, improperly cleaned. Now lightly toned. Noticeably hairlined, especially on the obverse, but regaining respectable orange-gold patina about the devices. One of several branch mint double eagles that were melted in large numbers in the 1930s and today very scarce in all grades (PCGS # 9181) .
