1859-C. NGC graded MS-61. Soft strike through the dentils as commonly seen on this scarce issue, but the central devices and wreath are sharper, particularly the mintmark. This date and mint is quite scarce in any Mint State grade. Perfect quality for the Charlotte gold or Gold dollar date collector to pursue. Only 5,235 struck. Pop 8; 10 finer in 62. (PCGS # 7552) .
