1787 Fugio Cent Newman 15-Y Rarity 2 8-Pointed Stars VG10. A STATES/UNITED variety. Rather glossy steel brown and chocolate blending to darker olive brown in protected areas. The surfaces are mostly smooth but do show minor roughness in some places, especially on the left side of the obverse where FUGIO is weakened by the roughness. The date is bold and the remainder of the legends are readable. The upper 8-pointed star between STATES and UNITED on the label is clear, but the lower star is worn away. Listed on page 88 in the "Redbook." Weight 129.8 grains.
