Ellis in command, February 28, 1865 to April 30, 1865, signed by Company Commander, Chas. E. Penhallow and Inspector and Mustering Officer, Captain J. Frank Morgan, 31 x 21 in. Seven commissioned officers are listed and six non-commissioned staff. Under Remarks is the handwritten notation: "Engaged in operations which resulted in occupation of Petersburg and Richmond Va. and surrender of Army of No. Virginia." Staining to one blank panel, else very good.
