Encased Postage. John Shilito & Co. Five Cents. EP-92, HB-218. This rarely seen issuer is another from Cincinnati, and was responsible for opening the city's first department store in 1857 housed in the largest building in town at the time. That building still exists today as a luxury apartment building. A nicely toned case with near perfect mica protecting the stamp. VF/XF. Estimated Value $400 - UP
