1847 N-4 R3 Repunched 18 AU58. Frosty mint red fading to steel brown with at least a third of both sides showing mellowed mint red. Looks choice mint state but a glass reveals a hint of rub on the very highest points of the devices. A minor scuff on the upper edge of the bust is the only notable mark. Needs a proper bath to bring out the underlying mint luster. E-MDS, die state b, with a light die crack at MER. The repunching on the 18 is sharp. Tied for CC#11 in the Grellman census.
