1895 Liberty Nickel. NGC graded Proof 66 Cameo. Brilliant with a hint of light golden toning. Lustrous golden gray with grand overall eye appeal for this high quality. Crisp detail on all devices. A remarkable coin in a popularly collected series. The Liberty nickels were minted in Proof each year from 1883 to 1912. Some of the dates in the 1890s, this 1895 being an example, are much scarcer in Gem condition than originally believed. 2,062 proofs struck. Pop 5; 1 in 67 Cam.
