1893 Liberty Nickel. NGC graded MS-65. Lustrous with delicate pastel toning. Moderate weakness in some stars, but sharply struck on Liberty's hair and coronet. The sometimes volatile cartwheel luster has been tamed somewhat by the dynamic toning of this 1893 Liberty nickel. What also sparks our interest is the varying hues of color that mingle broadly with rich pure-nickel iridescence. An attractive gem that shows off its color proudly. Pop 68; 7 in 66; 2 in 67.
