1798 S-177 R4+ Small 8, Style II Hair VG8+. Sharpness F12 but the fields and protected areas are covered with extremely fine granularity while the devices are smooth. No verdigris, and the only mark is a shallow depression on the rim over the C in AMERICA. The highpoints are especially glossy suggesting they were lightly burnished, but the eye appeal remains decent. Rather glossy dark olive brown and steel with slightly lighter steel brown and chocolate toning on the highpoints. E-MDS, Breen state II, showing a strong lump at the tip of the bust. The date is bold and the legends are clear.
