1899 $2.50 Liberty PCGS PF67 DC. PCGS graded Proof 67 Deep Cameo PQ. CAC Approved. Only 150 minted and this example is one of the finest to survive. A blazing gem and almost perfect quality. Although this issue is comparatively plentiful for a Proof gold coin of the era, it is likely that around 100 of these exist today in all grades. Most fall well short of the splendid technical quality and glorious eye appeal of this piece.
