1794 S-43 R2 PCGS graded VF20. Attractive glossy medium chocolate brown. The surfaces are smooth, void of any trace of corrosion or verdigris. Just minor contact marks scattered over both sides; a thin nick at the top of the D in UNITED is the only notable one. MDS, Breen state III late, with a strong die crack through the U in UNITED into the wreath but not yet reaching the C in CENT. Graded F15 by Del Bland. Our grade is F15 as well. A pretty cent that comes with a nice provenance. The attribution and Trollan provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 8 finer for the variety. Estimate Value $1,000 - UP
