1807 C-1 R1. PCGS graded AU-53. Glossy steel and chocolate brown with frost in protected areas. Great eye appeal, but a glass reveals some faint hairline scratches on the portrait, mostly hidden in the hair. LDS, Manley state 3.0. The obverse fields are covered with radial die flowlines and are slightly swollen, and STATES is relatively weak from die wear. Our grade is EF45 sharpness net VF35.
