1848 N-4 R4+ Repunched Date PCGS graded AU58. Frosty medium brown and light chocolate with tan in protected areas. A carbon spot in the dentils above star 9 and some darker toning on NT in CENT are the notable marks. E-MDS, die state a late. Repunching is clearly visible on all 4 digits of the date and die rust shows in the obverse fields. Our grade is AU50+, tied for CC#7 in the Grellman census. Estimated Value $300 - UP
