1811 $5 Bust. Tall 5 PCGS MS61. PCGS graded MS-61. Frosty with light golden tone and splendid surfaces ovreall. The strike is sharp on the devices, especially so on Liberty's curls. Handsome old crusty toning with dusky gold and orange tints throughout. These early half eagles were the primary backbone of large transactions during this era, half dollars served a major part in day to day transactions too. Not many survived from the original time of issue. Only 99,581 struck, and a minute fraction exist today, particularly in Mint State like the present coin. Pop 3; 27 finer at PCGS. (PCGS # 8110) Estimated Value $9,000 - 10,000
