1835 N-6 R1 Type of 1834, Small 8 & Stars PCGS graded MS64 Brown, CAC Approved. Lustrous medium brown with delicate overtones of very light bluish steel. A swipe of slightly darker chocolate brown toning along the bottom of the date and a shallow, barely visible planchet flake on the eyeball (as struck) are the best identifying marks. E-MDS. There is a tiny rim cud break between stars 2 & 3 and the repunching on the C in AMERICA is weak but still visible. Graded MS60 and tied for CC#4 in the Noyes census, his photo #35154. Our grade is MS60. The attribution and Ahumada provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 4; tied for finest BN of the variety at both services. PCGS #37087. Estimate Value $2,000 - UP
