1854 $3 Gold NGC MS62. NGC graded MS-62. Lightly toned. Housed in an Old Style Holder. This is the first year of issue of this denomination, which continued in production through 1889. Always popular for the unusal stated value of $3, but this was based on a sheet of 3 cent stamps, which could be purchased 100 stamps at a time for $3 of course.
