1874. PCGS graded Proof 64 Deep Cameo. CAC Approved. Well struck and fully white. The Deep Cameo contrast is quite rare and seldom seen on 1874 Trade Dollars, as PCGS notes only 8 pieces in their Population Report that offer this highest degree of contrast. Here is one of the finer examples that bears snow-white color and highly reflective fields, which contrast with the frosted devices. A visually stunning effect that is rarely found on any of these early Proofs, and always sought-after by knowledgeable numismatists. Only 700 struck. Pop 4; 2 finer in 65. (PCGS # 97054) .
