1861-D $1 Gold Indian. PCGS graded AU Details, Cleaning. Lightly toned. Only 1,000 struck and this is a key date issue that is seldom offered and most were cleaned long ago. The Dahlonega Mint issued coins in somewhat limited numbers from 1838 until the Civil War broke out in 1861, so these were the last coins struck during that turbulent time.
