Seleukid Kingdom. Seleukos I, 323-280 BC. AR Tetradrachm (17.1g), Babylon mint, struck c. 305 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Reverse: Zeus seated left, with eagle and scepter; M-Π-P monogram at left, another different one beneath throne. SNG Cop. 9; Houghton 941; ESM 4. Well struck up, and lightly toned.
