1858 Pattern 1C. J-204 PCGS Proof 65. PCGS graded Proof 65. CAC Approved. A gorgeous gem specimen with delicate golden iridescent tones on both sides. This design incorporates the small flying eagle obverse with the oak wreath on the reverse of 1859, but with a larger shield than adopted even in 1860.
