1889 Morgan Dollar. NGC graded Proof 64 Cameo. Brilliant white cameo Proof. Highly lustrous and entirely brilliant with flashy silver highlights on both sides; only a scant few hairlines visible. Squarely struck including the hair and cap features, with outstanding detail on the eagle. Today's bidders ought to be pretty grateful to the U.S. Mint for having produced such a splendid Morgan silver dollar. Only 811 struck. Pop 8; 24 finer, 8 in 65, 6 in 66, 9 in 67, 1 in 68 (PCGS # 7324) .
