1911-D. NGC graded MS-64. Well struck throughout with intense uniform sunset golden colors. Only 55,680 pieces were struck and gems are excpetinally difficult to come by (and expensive). This handsome coin should dazzle any Indian quarter eagle collector and offers satin smooth surfaces that are wonderfully clean and full mint freshness and luster! The strike is sharp as expected, and the usual high wire rim is seen on the upper right obverse, diagnostic to this key date. Always in strong demand as the Indian quarter eagle set is one of the few collections of gold coins that can reasonably be completed, once this date is secured! Why not put this one away now?
