1805 C-3 R4 Small 5 with Stems. PCGS graded VG-8. Attractive glossy chocolate brown and steel. The surfaces are perfectly smooth, void of any hint of corrosion or verdigris. Just a few microscopic contact marks including a small nick on the N in CENT. LDS, Manley state 2.0, showing an obvious bulge covering most of the field before the portrait. The date is bold and the legends are clear except for the usual weakness on HA in HALF and CE in CENT. Our grade is VG7 and nearly choice for that grade. The "Small 5, Stems" features are noted on the PCGS label.
Estimated Value $1,000-UP.
