1874 $1 Gold Indian. PCGS graded MS-63. A flashy and very choice example. Typical for the 1874-dated Gold Dollars, the word LIBERTY on the headband is faint. It is believed this is due to die lapping at the mint to remove clash marks, which weakened the letters. Usually only a few show. A frosty Type-Set worthy example representing the Type 3 design of 1856-89 (PCGS # 7575) .
Estimated Value $650 - 700.

Realized $661
