1928-C, $20 Federal Reserve Note. LGS. PCGS Very Fine 25PPQ. Fr-2053-G. This is a pleasing, fully original circulated example of a very scarce series which was printed for only two district banks, Chicago and San Francisco. While this Chicago $20 is from the more "common" of the two districts, it is in an uncommon state of preservation--a completely original and problem-free note in a moderately circulated grade. Undoubtedly a note that will receive quite a bit of interest from collectors, and one that will likely inspire spirited bidding before the hammer falls as there simply aren't enough notes from this series available, with this quality of preservation in a mid-range circulated grade, to meet collector demand.
