1854. Type 2. PCGS graded MS-62. Unusually well struck and free from clash marks which makes this coin even more desirable. The Type 2 gold dollars are all scarce and have long been sought after by date and type collectors with strong pressure brought to bear when mint state examples cross the auction block (PCGS # 7531) .
