1795 S-76a R5 Lettered Edge, ONE CENT High VG8. Sharpness VF20 but shallow pitting is scattered over the upper half of the obverse and minor roughness can be found elsewhere on both sides. A rim bruise at the bust tip and a few rim nicks at ERTY are the notable signs of contact. A rather glossy mix of medium brown, reddish chocolate, and dark olive brown. MDS, Breen state II. The date is strong, the legends are clear, and the edge lettering is complete. A difficult variety to find nice.
