1882, $10 National Bank Note. The Delaware City NB, Delaware City, DE, Ch. #1332. Extremely Fine. Fr-481. KL-1187. This is the quintessential Delaware National Bank Note--it has a city name, the bank title, and design type that many collectors desire. It is the only Brown Back $10 known on this bank, and is one of just three of all denominations reported in the census. When it last appeared on the market, 15 years ago in a Lyn Knight sale, it brought $8,800. We expect it to bring more today, with the market for such rarities even more advanced since the turn of the last century.
