1907, $10 Gold Certificate. PCGS Gem New 65PPQ. Fr-1172. KL-441. This broadly-margined Gem displays vivid orange-gold coloration on both the face overprint, and on the back design. The paper is strictly original, with bold embossing evident throughout. While Fr. 1173s with the Speelman-White signature combination are often available (for a price) in a high state of preservation, the earlier Tehee-Burke Fr. 1172 is much scarcer in higher grades.
