Roman Imperatorial Period. Marc Antony, died 30 BC. AR Denarius, struck 36 BC. Bare head right of Marc Antony. Reverse: Armenian tiara. Syd 1205; Craw. 539/1. Very rare, with an excellent portrait. Well centered on a large flan; Choice Very Fine/ Very Fine.
Comemmorates Antony's travel to Armenia in 36 BC. Interestingly, on this particular die the "A" of "Antonius" is completely missing, apparently, a celator's oversight.
