Roman Silver and Billon Antoninianii Collection - 44 piece lot. Consists of Roman Imperial 3rd and 4th century Antoninianii covering the periods of Gordian III thru Postumous. We note some interesting animal reverse types including the 1000th anniversary of Rome issues of Philip I. A good number of the later antoniniaii still contain their original silvering. Emperors and Empresses are well represented. Grades will range from Very Good to Extremely Fine and many can be improved if cleaned properly.
