Catalina Island Pottery: Excellent Collection of Yellow Pottery Including Carafe, S&P Cactus Shakers, Cowboy Hat Ashtray and Five Plates. Catalina Pottery was founded in 1927 and sold in 1937 and is the commonly used name for Catalina Clay Products, a division of the Santa Catalina Island Company. The company produced a beloved line of pottery including tiles, tableware and decorative items all now highly prized by collectors worldwide.
An excellent collection of pottery in Catalina Island Pottery's vibrant yellow glaze. Excellent carafe with lid and stout wood handle, pair of their charming cactus salt and pepper shakers and the cowboy hat ashtray (likely made by GMB using Catalina molds). In plates, a 12.5" bread plate, two (2) large serving plates 11.25", one 10" dinner plate and one slightly lighter yellow 6" saucer from the Rancho line.
