Delaware, Jan. 1, 1776 10s. PCGS Superb Gem New 68PPQ. Fr-DE-79. An outstanding example that is as nice as the day it was printed, during the same year that the United States declared its independence from the British crown. A few very nice examples of this issue are present in the PCGS population report, with four graded at 68PPQ and one (a 69PPQ) graded finer, but most of the high grade sheets have been cut in recent years and this population isn't likely to grow without the chance discovery of more high grade uncut sheets.
